300+ Investors, One Platform: Creating Funding Opportunities at Innofest India 2.0

By FUISI Global | Aug 14, 2026 | Opportunities

India’s entrepreneurial landscape is evolving rapidly, with innovative startups emerging across industries and transforming ideas into scalable businesses. Yet, access to the right investors, mentorship, and funding opportunities remains one of the biggest challenges for early-stage founders. Innofest India 2.0, organised by Poddar Group of Institutions and the Federation of Unicorn Innovative Startups and Industry, created a powerful platform to bridge this gap by bringing together startups, investors, industry leaders, corporates, and aspiring entrepreneurs from across the country.

Recognised as the Largest startup fest in Rajasthan, Innofest India 2.0 witnessed participation from 1,000+ startups, 300+ investors, 1,000+ students, and over 8,000 attendees. With supporting partners from multiple states and participation extending beyond Rajasthan, the fest evolved into a national platform for innovation, investment, networking, and entrepreneurship.

Connecting Startups with the Right Investors

For an emerging startup, a great idea is only the beginning. Turning that idea into a sustainable business often requires funding, strategic guidance, industry connections, and access to the right ecosystem. Innofest India 2.0 brought these elements together by creating direct opportunities for founders to interact with investors and understand what it takes to build an investment-ready venture.

The presence of 300+ investors made the event a significant platform for Startup pitch to investors, allowing founders to present their ideas, demonstrate their business potential, receive feedback, and explore possible investment opportunities.

The investor ecosystem included prominent investment partners such as 247VC, Fluid Ventures, A Square Capital, Yashaa Global Capital, Expert Dojo, and Deval The Coach, among others. Their participation strengthened the investment-focused environment of the fest and provided startups with access to diverse perspectives on fundraising, scalability, market opportunities, and sustainable growth.

The 10 Minutes Millionaire Challenge

The flagship 10 Minutes Millionaire Challenge became one of the major highlights of Innofest India 2.0. With 300+ registrations, the challenge provided startups with a competitive platform to showcase their ventures before a panel of investors.

Following the selection process, the Top 10 startups were shortlisted by a panel of 15+ investors. The selected founders then got the opportunity to pitch their businesses, highlight their innovation, explain their market potential, and present their growth vision.

The challenge resulted in a remarkable cumulative funding commitment of ₹10 crore, demonstrating the potential of bringing innovative startups and investors together on a single platform.

More Than Funding: Creating an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

While investment was a central focus, Innofest India 2.0 went beyond simply connecting startups with capital. The fest created opportunities for knowledge exchange, mentorship, networking, and industry exposure through Signature Talks, Panel Discussions, and the Shark Tank House.

The Shark Tank House startup session, themed “From Bootstraps to Breakthroughs: Startup Success Stories,” featured founders who had appeared on Shark Tank and successfully transformed their ideas into growing ventures. Their experiences offered aspiring entrepreneurs practical insights into bootstrapping, dealing with investor expectations, overcoming challenges, and scaling sustainably.

The event also featured discussions around founders' entrepreneurial journeys, the Academia role in startup ecosystem, MSME innovation, technology upgradation, and government-backed initiatives. These conversations helped participants understand the wider ecosystem required to transform ideas into sustainable businesses.

Creating Funding Opportunities for Young Innovators

The investment vision of Innofest India 2.0 was not restricted to established startups. Through Startup Champs India, a special school-level initiative, five student-led startups received ₹5,000 funding commitments from Poddar Innovation and Incubation Centre, along with an opportunity to sign MoUs.

The initiative encouraged young innovators to identify real-world problems and develop entrepreneurial solutions around technology, creative products, and social impact. By introducing students to funding, incubation, and entrepreneurship at an early stage, the initiative demonstrated the importance of nurturing India's future founders.

A Platform for Ideas, Innovation and Investment

The fest also featured a Startup exhibition in Jaipur / Rajasthan, with more than 100 startups and companies showcasing their products and innovations. The exhibition created another avenue for startups to engage with investors, customers, industry professionals, and potential partners.

The convergence of startups and investors at Innofest India 2.0 demonstrated that a strong startup ecosystem requires more than capital. It requires meaningful conversations, access to expertise, networking opportunities, mentorship, market exposure, and platforms where entrepreneurs can be discovered.

Building India's Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

With 300+ investors, 1,000+ startups, ₹10 crore in cumulative funding commitments, 100+ exhibitors, and more than 8,000 attendees, Innofest India 2.0 created a powerful ecosystem for entrepreneurial growth.

The fest showcased what can happen when investors are given access to innovative ideas and entrepreneurs are given access to the right networks. From the 10 Minutes Millionaire Challenge to Startup Champs India, the platform created funding opportunities across different stages of entrepreneurship.

More importantly, Innofest India 2.0 reinforced a larger vision, to make entrepreneurship more accessible, investment more connected, and innovation more visible.

When 300+ investors, ambitious founders, industry leaders, corporates, mentors, and young innovators come together on one platform, the result is more than a startup event. It becomes an ecosystem where ideas can find capital, founders can find mentors, and innovations can find the opportunity to grow.
