The Genesis of FUISI
How a strategic vision for inclusive enterprise, green manufacturing, and grassroots entrepreneurship grew into a nationwide movement.
Bridging Bharat's Innovators to Global Enterprise
The Federation of Unicorn Innovative Startup & Industries (FUISI) was conceived out of a fundamental realization: while India’s major metropolitan hubs were producing celebrated unicorns, thousands of brilliant innovators, MSMEs, and young entrepreneurs in Tier-2, Tier-3, and rural regions remained disconnected from institutional capital, policy advocacy, and tier-1 market access.
Founded under the visionary stewardship of Dr. Anand Poddar and dynamic entrepreneurial pioneers, FUISI was established not as a conventional trade lobby, but as a proactive, non-profit catalyst. The mission was explicit: build an ecosystem where grassroots innovation in Clean Energy, AgriTech, Bio-Circular Economy, MedTech, and Artificial Intelligence could access the same mentorship and funding opportunities previously reserved for metropolitan elite founders.
Inclusive Ecosystem
Democratizing access for female founders, student entrepreneurs, and regional MSME manufacturers.
Policy Advocacy
Interfacing directly with Central & State ministries to streamline subsidies and regulatory clearances.
Global Corridors
Establishing bilateral trade delegations and cross-border innovation pacts for Indian enterprises.
Today, FUISI stands at the forefront of national enterprise acceleration. With 24 specialized Industry Sector Panels, a rapidly growing nationwide network of city chapters, and formal partnerships across universities and trade bodies, the federation is translating India's "Viksit Bharat" vision into tangible economic prosperity.
